Interrupt Card Set

The Interrupt card set consists of 3 interrupt cards.
 

1. A single interrupt card - a 100 x 100 mm black plastic square.

2. A double interrupt card - 180 x 80 mm. Made from clear polycarbonate, printed with two black stripes.

3. A multi-segmented interrupt card (also known as a picket fence) - 500 x 55 mm. Made of clear polycarbonate, printed with twelve black stripes.  

The single interrupt card can be used with:

• A single Light Gate connected to Input A to calculate Speed at A, Momentum and Kinetic Energy at A, at A then A, or change from A to A.
• Two Light Gates connected to both A and B to calculate Speed/Velocity at A or B, at A then B, Acceleration from A to B, Momentum and Kinetic Energy at A or B, at A then B and change from A to B.

The double interrupt card can be used with:

• A single Light Gate connected to Input A to calculate Acceleration at A.
• Two Light Gates connected to both A and B to calculate Acceleration at A or B, at A then B, change from A to B

The multi-segmented interrupt card (picket fence) will allow a sequence of measurements to be taken.

• It can be used with a single Light Gate connected to Input A to calculate Speed at A, Distance at A, Acceleration at A, Momentum and Kinetic Energy at A.
