Anemometer (Count/Tachometer accessory)
For use with the 3296 Count Tachometer adaptor (3296) which has two ranges calibrated to record wind speed in either m/s or mph.
The Anemometer is constructed using a high quality ball bearing, stainless steel hardware, UV stable plastic, and durable anodized aluminum hemispherical cups that are weight matched.
The Anemometer's wiring is protected inside a PVC pipe which allows for easy mounting using a 50 mm (2”) pipe clip or similar. Minimum assembly required.
The Anemometer is supplied with a 10 m lead that ends with two 3.5 mm jack plugs, which is used to connect to the SmartQ Count/Tachometer.

Note: Wind speed must be at least 1 m/s (2 mph) to achieve start up speed.
See the complete Anemometer Pack (3297PK).
The Anemometer uses a double contact reed switch, so counts twice for each complete rotation. Wind speed is calculated by using the rate of rotation of the wind cups.
