Vu Light Gates (pair)

A pack of 2 Vu Light gates which are digital switch-type sensors that have two states, ON and OFF condition. The Light gate has an infrared transmitter and receiver that detects objects passing through the 'gate'. A single Light gate can be used to measure time and speed at A or use a pair of Light gates to measure time and speed from A to B.

E.g. Which car is the fastest?, Speedy cars?, What stops speedy cars going faster?

 

NOTE: These sensors are only suitable for use with the Vu data logger.

Supplied as a pack of 2 Light gates

The Light Gate is mounted in a robust plastic housing.

An LED, in the plastic mounting, flashes when the beam has been interrupted, which helps when setting up with users' own trolleys and inclined planes.
 

Use a pair of Light gates to measure Time or Speed from A to B, or a single Light gate to measure Time or Speed at A.
